We are thrilled to welcome two seasoned digital professionals as non-voting board observers at the Local Media Consortium: CJ Jacobs and Ethan Holland. Their extensive expertise in media, technology, and business development will further empower the LMC’s mission to support and innovate within the local media landscape.

With expertise in digital strategy, product development, and revenue growth, CJ and Ethan will provide essential perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping local media today.

Meet Our New Board Observers


CJ Jacobs – Head of Product Development, MediaNews Group


CJ Jacobs is a seasoned product executive with two decades of experience leading teams across product, engineering, and data. At MediaNews Group, she oversees global product and technology experiences for digital publishing and agency business lines. CJ excels in building high-performing teams and driving digital transformation through a lean startup approach. Her expertise in product-led growth and data-driven decision-making makes her a valuable addition to the LMC board.



Ethan Holland – Vice President, Draper Media


Ethan Holland has a proven track record of digital innovation and transformation. Before joining Draper Media as Vice President, he led digital strategy at American Eagle Outfitters, revolutionizing legacy business operations. Recognized by The New York Times and a keynote speaker at Adobe’s annual conference, Ethan has collaborated on major product launches with Google, YouTube, Meta, Snap, and Twitter. In addition to his role at Draper Media, he chairs LMC’s AI Committee, leading key discussions on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in local media.
